Warehouse and Heavy Machinery Solar Control

The Challenge

Ferrovial Construction wanted to improve thermal comfort in both its warehouse and heavy machinery without compromising visibility or natural light. Large glazed areas in the warehouse generated excessive heat and glare, while operators working inside machinery cabins required clear visibility and a more comfortable working environment during long hours of operation.

The Solution

Sunphade installed its photochromic solar film on the warehouse glazing and on the cabin windows of a heavy machinery. The film automatically adapts to changing sunlight conditions, reducing heat and glare while maintaining excellent visibility—without electricity, external power, or user intervention.

The Result

The installation improved comfort across both the warehouse and heavy equipment. By reducing solar heat gain and glare, Sunphade created a cooler indoor environment, enhanced operator comfort and visibility.
